Rooibos Tea

Ontario Farm Family Owned Since 1990

Like Camellia Sinensis, Rooibos is an environmentally sensitive plant. The best indicator of this is the fact that it only grows commercially in one small corner of the world - South Africa’s Cederberg district. The soil conditions, rainfall and sunshine of the district can’t be duplicated anywhere else on earth. Rooibos is recognized for its beneficial properties (polyphonous, iron, zinc, fluoride, calcium and magnesium) and wonderful taste. It is an excellent caffeine free alternative to traditional caffeinated teas.

Bourbon Street Vanilla: Fruity with sweet notes. Vanilla flavouring gives the rooibos a wonderful exotic jazzy depth.

Earl Grey: For the herbal tea drinker who has everything. A delicious Earl Grey and rooibos combination.

Mocha Rocha: Exquisite. Ethiopian mocha caffe highlights wind their way through lightly sweet  chocolate caramel notes.

Strawberry Tingle:Outstanding strawberry flavour. Memories of sweet succulent spring strawberries abound. Perfect harmony between rooibos and strawberry.

Sunshine Lemon: Lemon invigorates the rooibos taste.

Simply wonderful hot or iced and dressed with a slice of lemon.

To Brew these Teas. Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 tsp of tea for each cup into teapot. Add boiling water, cover and let steep 3-7 minutes and remove tea. Add milk and sugar to taste. Acceptable to consume “straight up”.
